Markets are specific places in every city. The sound, way people interact, merchants and traders announce their products, others with bags and trolleys tasting fruits and inspecting vegetables. Lots of bargain and haggle, food for one Reais, people with bags full of lemons pulling your sleeve.
City of Sao Pulo recently introduced the law of ‘visual pollution’ banning billboards from the streets. It was discussed that every billboard can distract driver for 15 meters, causing great risks in traffic.
So, what is other place where lots of people travel and have enough time to consume commercials? Well, its metro. Metro cars have small screens with non stop video commercials.

Salvador has around 2.7 milion inhabitants and was the first colonial capital of Portugese Brasil in 16th century. It has the highest proportion of people of African descent in the country, and one of the largest black populations in the Western Hemisphere. Gilberto Gil, present Brazilian Minister of the culture is born in Salvador.
